Plain-language summary

We collect the information you submit via our contact forms, plus standard analytics and server logs from your visit. We use that information to respond to you and to understand site usage. We do not sell your information. Marketing communications — by email, text message, and phone call — are opt-in only. The dedicated opt-out mechanism for marketing is the one-click unsubscribe link in every marketing email we send. The details follow.

What data we collect

  • Form submissions. Name, company, role, email address, phone number (if you provide one), site type, primary concern, message, and any other information you choose to provide in the contact and assessment forms.
  • Marketing opt-in state. Whether you ticked the marketing-communications checkbox, the channels covered by your consent (email, text message, phone call), and the timestamp at which you consented.
  • Analytics. Pages viewed, referrer, device type, approximate geography (city-level), and aggregated interaction data, collected via our analytics provider.
  • Server logs. IP address, user agent, request timestamps, and basic request metadata held for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry or assessment request, using the contact details you've provided.
  • To send marketing communications — by email, text message (SMS/MMS), and/or phone callonly if you explicitly opted in via the contact-form checkbox. Message and data rates may apply for SMS/MMS. Consent is not a condition of doing business with Broadband US.
  • To understand site usage in aggregate, so we can improve content and navigation.
  • To protect the site against abuse, scraping, and security incidents.

Third parties we share it with

  • HubSpot — contact form submissions and CRM records.
  • Our analytics provider — aggregated page-view and interaction data.
  • Our hosting provider — request logs and infrastructure data.
  • We do not sell personal information. We do not share form submissions with marketing networks or ad platforms.

Data retention

Form submissions are retained in HubSpot for as long as the business relationship is active, after which records are deleted on a rolling annual review. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained per our analytics provider's standard configuration. You can request deletion at any time — see "Your Choices & Opt-Out" below.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your contact record.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw marketing consent at any time.

Your Choices & Opt-Out

Marketing-communications opt-in covers three channels — email, text message, and phone call. Our dedicated opt-out mechanism is email: the one-click unsubscribe link in every marketing email we send. Once exercised, that opt-out withdraws your consent across all channels and is recorded in HubSpot with a timestamp.

  • Unsubscribe from marketing (committed opt-out)
Every marketing email we send via HubSpot includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. One click is sufficient — no login, no confirmation page, no dark patterns. Unsubscribing applies to all marketing channels you previously consented to (email, text message, and phone call), and we update your record in HubSpot accordingly.
  • Request deletion of your contact record
Submit a request via our contact form, selecting "Privacy inquiry" as the topic. We confirm receipt within two business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
  • Opt out of analytics tracking
We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. You can also disable analytics cookies via your browser's cookie controls. A link to disable analytics on this site is available in our footer banner where one is shown.
  • Object to processing
Submit a request via the contact form and we will assess and respond per applicable law.

How to reach our privacy team

Privacy-related requests are handled by named staff. Submit your request via the contact form, selecting "Privacy inquiry" as the topic. We do not publish a direct email address on the site, by design — routing through the form ensures privacy requests are logged, timestamped, and tracked to resolution.
