We sit on the customer's side of the table. We don't resell hardware. We don't take rebates. We don't have an OEM partner program that determines what we recommend.
That posture is rare, and we don't take it lightly — but it's also what lets us tell a client "the architecture that vendor is selling is the wrong one for your site" and mean it.
